Biographie
Kalley is a writer/worship leader/independent artist with uneven bangs (it is what it is) from the Midwest. She spent years in Redding, CA and established many parts of who she is (music/worship included) but still says “bag” like a Minnesotan. Her husband once described her as “burnt pancakes, arm tattoos, soft hearted, army boots”. She accidentally fell into writing and singing because Jesus asked her to do it, and over the years it has become a source of healing, expression and hope. Through tragedy and loss music has evolved into a lifeline and a friend, whether it’s through personal expressions with quirky sounds, bits of pop and poetic lyrics, or more corporate expressions of adoration. Kalley’s led worship for many years, her love for and dedication to Jesus is the pulse that runs beneath it all. During her time with Bethel Music she released her first recorded song, “Ever Be” (2015) followed by “Spirit Move” (2016) and others. She would go on to release a two-part EP called Faultlines in 2019. She has been quietly working on a lot of music and has upcoming plans for release. Her and her family have recently moved to Tennessee where she still burns pancakes and still prefers combat boots to cowboy boots.
