B.O.Z (Born Of Zion), is a Chinese rapper-songwriter. He was born in Hong Kong and went to Vancouver at 12 years old to study. At 20, he won first place at a Hip-Hop contest by Warner Music in Vancouver. At 22, he formed the Hip-Hop crew “Syndicate” with a few good friends and signed with EMI Music Taiwan. He then made a mistake and ended up in prison. Behind bars, he got transformed by faith. He studied and became a counselor and an evangelist, helping other inmates. 

After released from prison, he served the community by using inspirational/gospel music with speeches at different schools and social events. His story has been featured at different TV/radio shows, newspapers and magazines in North America and Asia. 

He is now a pastor and an inspirational speaker. His autobiography “Risen From Prison” won “Best New Canadian Manuscript” at the WORD Awards 2019. He was a speaker for TEDx Talks 2022 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
