Biographie
Peter Burton is a singer/songwriter with a sound that takes the listener on a journey leading to hope. Burton’s music tells the story of personal challenges we all face as humans colliding with the faithfulness of God in lyric and melody. Growing up as an overcomer of mental illness, he’s experienced the beauty of how blessing and suffering can go hand in hand and how faith is not a feeling it’s a choice. Peter’s message to the world is Hope has a name and its Jesus. If you have Jesus, you have everything. Burton has been around the professional music industry for many years. From his early years spent touring the world and writing songs with CCM artist Lincoln Brewster, to eventually helping start the worship artist THRIVE WORSHIP. Burton was instrumental in helping write and perform on Thrive’s first record which went to #1 on Billboard charts. After being apart of Thrive’s second album which hit #2 on the Billboard charts, Burton stepped into a solo artist career to release music from his own journey in life. His debut single IT'S A GOOD TIME TO PRAISE is sure to get your head noddin and feet stomping as he reminds us that, no matter the season we are in, we have a good life, a good God and it’s always a good time to praise.
