Biographie
Hi friends, I'm Maggie. When I was 11, I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and was sent on a long journey of beginning to know the Lord’s heart. And so honestly... I don't ever remember sitting down and actively deciding to write a song... However, I do remember being a wildly anxious middle schooler learning to pray and whose prayers often just happened to be underscored with a few simple chords. The journey has absolutely been one of three steps forward and two steps back. Simultaneously, though, I can say that the Lord has absolutely changed my life and the girl I knew at 11 is hardly recognizable. In a sentence, my story is one of a God who’s heard a thousand prayers for peace and never left me, and so I really enjoy singing, writing, and talking about what it looks like to walk all areas of this life with him. I try to be honest with my questions here – and I have a lot of them. But I also long to live honestly in the truth of the God who I believe is with me in those questions.
