Biographie

In 2018, Eva's prayers became melodies, marking the start of her musical journey. A pivotal moment came in 2019 when her choir director pointed to her laptop and said, “That’s your studio.” From that day forward, she embraced this new passion, transforming musical ideas into reality and finding a profound sense of purpose. With faith-deepening experiences, she overcame fear, allowing healing and growth to guide her as she shared the gift God had given her. Music, and choir in particular, has always been Eva's sanctuary, shaped by the mentorship of inspiring music educators like John Kovalchik and Robert Drafall during her early years. At Penn State, she sang with Essence of Joy under Dr. Anthony Leach, and later joined the African American Choral Ensemble at Indiana University, directed by Dr. Raymond Wise. Dr. Wise’s influence inspired her to start creating and continues to impact her creativity. Her journey has led to collaborations with platforms like Amen Worldwide, One Big Family, Redeemed Art Collective, theOLOGY, Aletheia Legacy, and Integrity Music. In 2021, she co-founded Fam Jam, a DC-based creative community hosting house shows that showcase local artists. This space has not only strengthened her as a performer but also as a cultivator of creativity and community. Eva aspires for her music to inspire others to connect with God, grow courageously in their gifts, and build a more harmonious world filled with love, creativity, and connection.
