Eva is removing the bushel and sharing His light in song. God used music as an instrument to shine light into her darkest moments. Fear and depression give way to healing and self-worth when she remembers that God is the only One worth living for and the best reason to sing. Many of Eva’s songs are her deepest prayers expressed through melodies. She desires to make music that sobers us to hard realities and helps us process truth with the Lord. She also wants to make bright, fun music that stirs us into joy and colorful praise. Without life’s trials, influential teachers, and rich choral experiences with Essence of Joy at Penn State and the African American Choral Ensemble at Indiana University, Eva says, "I would not be making music at all." She emulates singers like Tori Kelly, Madison Ryann Ward, and Charity Gayle - particularly in expressiveness, sincere character, humility, and boldness. She dispenses truth that cuts deep and hopes to compel listeners to talk with God. Eva desires to bridge cultures by creating connectivity and cultivating unity and love - even within the church itself. She aims to reach hearts that need hope, to encourage the burdened to pour out to God, and to help everyone to see His beauty and glory.
