Biographie
Since he began touring in 2011, Joshua Carswell has performed before thousands, eliciting standing ovations and enthusiastic spontaneous applause. Joshua was raised in the mountains of North Carolina and fed a steady diet of Mountain Gospel, Broadway classics, movie musicals, and songs from the golden age of American music. He began singing in church and on stages across the countryside. He was a scholarship student at Elon University, and won the hearts of the judges at the prestigious American Traditions Competition in Savannah Georgia, including internationally renowned opera singer Denyce Graves. Following the release of his debut album Debonair, Joshua was featured guest artist on PBS’s nationally televised special The Art of the Love Song with Annie Moses Band released on Warner Classics.
