Jack began releasing music in Sydney, Australia, where she studied songwriting. She took much of the production alongside Greg Bell in her EP Jasmine Rice, first released in 2009. Of which included dissonant melodies and layered harmonies over a string quartet and accordion amongst other instruments. Following her move to L.A. in 2010, she began to lose sight of where she wanted to go as an artist and stopped releasing music altogether. Now ready to show her growing fan base the world she has lived and continues to live in through the songs she has written over the last ten years.
