Biographie
Former American Idol finalist, and Billboard charting songwriter Kurtis Parks is all about writing songs that inspire and challenge people to live with faith and hope. Whether instrumental music based in piano and acoustic guitar, his catchy worship choruses, or his modern renditions of classic hymns, Kurtis connects with audiences of all ages. He even has a best-selling kids album called "Story Songs from Scripture". Kurtis has also authored two books, “Sound Check” for worship teams and leaders, released through David C Cook, and “Worshipology” through Core Media. Kurtis has opened for major artists including John Mayer, The Avett Brothers, Gungor, and Reliant K. He hosts a weekly podcast called Worshipology where he interviews worship leaders, artists and pastors to inspire people to lead lives of worship.
