HNRY is the moniker for Christian Pop artist and songwriter John Henry. Growing up John had a speech impediment and didn’t speak till he was 9 years old. Even with his speech restored his teen age years weren’t much better with having to face insecurities and doubting his self worth. It was ultimately Christian music that often pulled him out of those dark seasons. Now with songs to sing and a story to share John’s mission is to bring hope to the ones that feel the way he felt years ago. After signing a distribution deal with Wings Music Group HNRY released his first single “Fear Be Quiet” featuring Reach Records artist Tedashii August of 2022. That single has now reached over 600,000 streams across all platforms. HNRY is now working on his debut record slated to release in late 2024.
