🔆 ITM (reiteration of the Tagalog word, “itim”  which he translates as  "dark")  is a 2nd Generation Filipino-American emcee/rapper born and raised in Northern California. In 2018, he moved to the Philippines to live with and serve the working-class in Quezon City while using his music, writings, and videos to share his stories and reflections there. 

In both claiming his identity as a “BALIKBAYAN NOT MISSIONARY” and honing his craft as a critical creative, ITM hopes that he can inspire others to also remember and reclaim their identities while forming meaningful connections back to the Inang Bayan/Motherland and our KABABAYAN who continue to live on this side of “balang araw”.
