Biographie
Cathy was brought up close to the west coast of Cornwall and filled her early days with a love of playing piano and playing in the fields. In her youth she developed past grade 8 classical piano and holds a BAHons in Music from Chichester University. Although her first instrument was piano, she took to singing and song writing on guitar whilst at uni and developed her early musical career both touring with her band and performing countless acoustic shows. After releasing 3 solo albums from 2001-2006 she joined with acclaimed song writer Amy Wadge and the very talented Edwina Hayes to form a trio called Hummingbird. They released one album together before moving onto further solo projects. During this time Cathy met prolific EDM vocal producer Raz Nitzan and started working as vocalist and writer mainly in the Vocal Trance Genre. Her vocals have been used by Artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Machine-Gun Kelly, Cosmic Gate and many more. Faith is a very important part of Cathy's life and in 2010 she recorded a collection of worship songs called "Source of every hour" with her original band line up. Then in 2014 a further band album was released: "Searchlight". There have been a steady stream of EDM releases over the past 10 years and 2019 will see further releases for Cathy both in EDM and other genres. This year Cathy will return to her love of classical piano and is currently writing for a piano instrumental project.
