George has written worship songs for the church for over three decades. He was a staff writer for Integrity Music in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was an amazing time to be a part of modern praise and worship music in its infancy. George has also served in several church of various denominations in the southern U.S. as a worship director and church planter. He continues to be inspired to write new worship music capturing what God is doing today. He is married to vocal coach and co-writer Marjorie Searcy. They have three children, Mallory Dawson, Jordy Searcy and Liam Searcy, who also are involved in music and art making.
