Biographie

Social media singing sensation, Bri (Briana Babineaux), has risen to the Top of the gospel music industry in a brief three years. The Lafayette, Louisiana native rose to cyber-fame when a friend posted an impromptu performance of her singing Tonex’s “Make Me Over” to YouTube and within hours, the dramatic performance had gone viral. The buzz led to Marquis Boone Enterprises and Tyscot Records partnering to produce the then- 21 year-old singer’s debut album, Keys To My Heart (Marquis Boone/Tyscot), which was released in spring 2016 with a No. 1 debut on Billboard magazine’s Gospel Albums sales chart. In the meantime, Bri has earned several radio hits such as the Top Ten smash, “I’ll Be The One.” Her worship ballad, “My Everything,” reached the Top 25 on the Mediabase Smooth Jazz chart. In addition, Bri has also snagged several best-selling Billboard Gospel Digital Songs chart hits such as “Holy Spirit,” “Jacob’s Song,” “My Hands Are Lifted Up,” “So Good” and the No. 1 smash, “Make Me Over.” Earlier this year, Bri won the Stellar Gospel Music Award as New Artist of the year and now she’s branching off into acting. She recently wrapped production as Mali Music’s co-star in the forthcoming Joel Kapity film “I Am Your Keeper” and she also appears in the upcoming Rhyan LaMarr movie, “Canal Street.” Bri is a McNeese State University student and plans to earn a law degree in the future.
